If we combined the names of all the bands that have graced the Mendizabala and La Virgen Blanca stages, we would have a crystal-clear picture of the grandeur of the festival and the history of rock over the last 50 years. The Azkena Rock Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, and on such a milestone anniversary, ARF could not have a better headliner than Patti Smith. Alongside her, The Offspring, Emmylou Harris, Social Distortion, Suzi Quatro and many more bands will gather again in Mendizabala, a place where the bands and the audience alike feel at home.
